28 international students from Ghana flight to Pudong Airport at 23:25 p.m. September 26, 2012. Ms Hu Fangfang, who is responsible for the Ghana class and 5 volunteers from Grade 11 International Shipping Management went to the airport to pick them up.
Ms Hu and the volunteers reached to the airport early. Once the Ghana students went out of the pass, the banner “WELCOME TO SHANGHAI MARITIME UNIVERSITY” came into their sight. Although they were tired because of the long journey, they all feel the enthusiasm from our teacher and students. After taking photos together, they were sent to Shanghai Maritime University dormitory# 62 by bus. Volunteers then helped them take the luggage to their dormitory. It was 3 o’clock when volunteers settled Ghana students down and got back to their dormitory.
